Every year, we conduct disaster recovery tests to ensure we can continue to operate if we encounter issues with our data centres.
We’ll soon be carrying out Disaster Recovery tests on the Electronic File Transfer (EFT) system. EFT is used to collect and send files over the Information Exchange (IX).
This activity requires planned outages as follows:
- Saturday 9 May - 5:15am until 7:00am
- Sunday 10 May - 5:15am until 7:00am
If we experience issues at any of the checkpoints within the failover and failback activities, the above timelines include scope for rollback. During this time, files will not be collected or sent to any IX servers from the EFT system.
