Service Access Issues (Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication)

Background

The issue experienced with Microsoft's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) service, which was preventing some customers from receiving the email verification codes required to access our services has now been resolved.

The underlying services remained operational and were functioning as expected. The issue was limited to the Microsoft MFA authentication process.

Customers may have experienced difficulties logging in to the following services:
- Discovery 2.0
- UK Link
- Contour
- SwitchStream
- Gas Enquiry Service (GES)

Microsoft have advised that a fix has been applied restoring service.

Xoserve, CDSP and Correla estates are not vulnerable to the PHP issues

Upon learning of the PHP cyber threat that emerged in the last 24 hours, we undertook an urgent vulnerability review of the CDSP IT estate to assess our exposure to this threat. 

We are pleased to be able to confirm that the Xoserve, CDSP and Correla estates are not vulnerable to the PHP issues. 

There are currently the following allocation issues:
